Tawreeq Holdings Limited Participates in GTR Mena Trade Finance Week 2018

 

Tawreeq Holdings Limited, a UAE, Luxembourg and Morocco-based group specializing in comprehensive Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solutions, participated as the Gold Sponsor in the GTR MENA Trade Finance Week 2018.

The 15th edition was held between February 19th and 20th at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, bringing together the MENA region’s leading names in trade, finance, technology, government bodies and corporates of all sizes. The event focused on taking stock of recent global developments while focusing on key issues in regional hotspots and sectors.

Tawreeq Holdings Limited shared its views on the SCF industry, offering insight into the latest trade finance trends and the importance of innovation to provide the needed and relevant financing tools to promote trade growth.

Tawreeq celebrated its continued growth by sharing details of its novel new products in the SCF space, shedding light on Tawreeq’s latest innovations – InvoiSME, a receivables financing program that facilitates working capital liquidity to SME suppliers through a streamlined online platform; and Tawreeq Marketplace, a global online marketplace for working capital that bridges the gap between businesses and Funders.

Led by Tawreeq’s Chief Investment Officer, Mark Smyth, Tawreeq engaged with keen and interested investors in discussing its investment solution Tawreeq Global Sukuk, elaborating on the unique investment opportunity it provides in underlying originated SCF assets through short-term, competitive and secure Global Sukuk.

In line with its Sustainability strategy and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its support to gender equality, Tawreeq was pleased to take part in the Women in Trade Finance session focused on discussing the importance of bringing about a cultural change to the industry by bridging the gender gap and retaining diversity.
